This stone has been
laid within the grounds of St. Leonard's Parish
Church.
The stone was discovered by
Greater Manchester Archaeological Unit during
their excavations at Langley Hall. The
stone was placed in the grounds of
St. Leonard's
on behalf of Middleton Civic Association on 27th
April 1990 as
a memorial to the birth place of
Cardinal Langley. |
